Amazon has released Amazon Cloud Player app that allows you to play audio files hosted on the Amazon cloud drive service and also, with Amazon’s online music store. The service has been available on PC, Mac, and Android, and is now available on iPhone and iPad. Below are the official features of the app;
- Playing Your Music
- Stream your music from the cloud.
- Download locally to enjoy your music offline – no wifi or mobile network needed.
- Create and edit playlists.
- Play music in the background, or controlled via lockscreen (android).
- Use Bluetooth to stream your music in your house or car.
The Amazon Cloud Drive has a limitation on the amount of free space for non-Amazon purchased files and it’s 5GB. You can upgrade to unlimited space for music by paying $20 a year. The service is only available for US citizens as of now.
