Sprint’s HTC Hero gets Android 2.1 update

HTC has released the Android 2.1 update for Sprint Hero. The new update brings the voice recognition feature that made its debut on the Motorola Droid last November. You can speak to the phone via mic for giving input to the phone, and we are sure that this feature will see more improvement in coming times..

Other improvements include enhancements to the HTC Sense user interface, full access to Android Market, and better integration with corporate email systems. This update also brings a number of usability bug fixes giving more desired stability and performance to the phone.
