AnimateLockscreen is a new app that has launched for jailbroken iDevics via Cydia. The app as the name suggests, allows you to put animated images on the lockscreen of the device.
iOS lags behind Android in terms of customization options. In Android, you can customize the complete behavior of the user interface but Apple is definitely very restrictive. We wish Apple could bring some changes in the upcoming iOS6 announcement but that thing doesn’t seem a possibility.
AnimateLockscreen has been made available in Cydia for $1 and the app currently hosts more than 1,000 animations which is quite a number to boast off at launch.
Till now the only way to customize the lockscreen was almost inexistent, but this app brings new possibilities.
