Apple has quietly launched the iPhone 5 in 22 more countries namely Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.
The availability has been made just after a week launch in the United States. This is the first time that Apple has made such a quick roll-out of the device across different region. This can be attributed to the learning process that Apple went through in the early releases of the iPhone, following to this one.
Despite the iPhone 5 gaining few criticisms due to the mapping phenomenon, it has received very nice reviews from tech blogs across the world. The device in most of the earlier mentioned countries has been made available as both locked and unlocked. It will still take a few days for you to spot the device in any Apple retail store.
