AT&T has announced the upcoming availability of LG Optimus G in the United States. The device, LTE Optimus G is LTE capable and comes with good specifications.
Below are some of the key features of the LG Optimus G;
- Qualcomm’s 1.5 GHz Quad-Core CPU Snapdragon S4 Pro processor,
- 4.7-inch IPS display that can render a resolution of 1280 x 768 pixels,
- Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0)
- 2GB RAM,
- 13-megapixel camera.
- 2,100mAh battery.

LG has used a ”fully integrated touch technology” for the bringing the thickness of the phone to 8.55 mm. This said technology has allowed for the reduction of the gap between the screen and the contact surface below it.
“The LG Optimus G lets our customers work and play as hard as they want with one of our first quad core processor designed to deliver a great multitasking experience,” said Jeff Bradley, senior vice president – Devices, AT&T.
“We think customers will really enjoy having the power of a computer in the palm of their hand.”
The camera module on the device has also been highlighted by AT&T with features such as Zero shutter lag, Live Shot, to capture simultaneous video and still images, and Time Catch Shot.
However, AT&T didn’t say anything on the pricing and upcoming availability of the device. We will update you as more information comes in.
