Best Free Educational Softwares availabe for iPhone and iPod Touch

Apple’s aap store is blessed with many application, most of which are paid apps and users feel increasingly frustrated for not being able to purchase them as purchasing requires a credit card and most of users don’t own a one, especially outside of US. However, with tons of free applications available for download, but searching for free and useful ones can be a tiresome job.

Wordweb (Category – Dictionary) - I have been using wordweb since 2003, firstly in Windows Xp and now seeing it available for iPhone was great and moreover, it’s free.

It includes -

In simple line, it showcases events that took place in history on a particular date. This app defines itself as “This Day in History for iPad is an interactive multimedia calendar that displays historical events for the current day or any selected day, along with related media such as photos, illustrations, music, and speeches.     Android apps are better in terms of being free and really useful, but apps from app store has the wow factor and most of them are lite versions and ask you to buy, if u need more.
