Apple’s App store may be taking all the limelight with zillions of application available for download and the number just seems to be getting bigger and bigger. However, there is a catch of most of them being paid applications. Samsung’s own operating system called “Bada” is rising quietly at a good pace and Samsung is really good at getting things done. They aren’t fighting with iOS or Android, instead they are looking to create their own space. The folks running Samsung know one thing, that the world is big enough for everyone to have a share of their own. Ok, now let’s dig up games for Bada.
1. Need For Speed™ Shift (Electronic Arts)
This is one of the best games available for iOS and now it is here for Bada also. The best thing about this game is being available for download as freeware, unlike for iOS where you have to pay for the full version. Explode onto the circuit in the fastest, hottest cars around. Tear through the streets of Chicago, Dubai, Italy and London in 24 Street and Pro-Racing events. From the second you hit the gas, start earning points and trophies for Aggressiveness, Precision and Style.
2. Bruce Lee Dragon Warrior (Bruce Lee Enterprises, LLC)
This game is the winner of the People’s Choice Award of the 2010 International Mobile Games Awards. A masterpiece of the 3D martial arts genre, features players fighting in historical locations around the world in an attempt to become the Master of Martial Arts and honor the Bruce Lee’s legacy. If you love games like street fighter, then this game is for you. This game is exclusive to Bada as of now.

The scrolling-fighter that sets the bar for 3D graphics on WAVE, that blends modern 3D sceneries with ’80s style gameplay.
Easy to grab and play, a mindless hack’n'slash game with amazing visuals in a fantasy world. Recommended for fans of action adventure games with casual controls and hectic gameplay that bring memories to the 80s games with very modern art.
4. Asphalt 5 (Gameloft)
This must be one of most popular racing games available for almost all mobile platforms including Java, and now it is available for Bada also. In fact, this game was shown on ads of Samsung Wave. With this game, take a ride in over 30 of the fastest, most prestigious cars you’ve ever dreamed of, from manufacturers like Ferrari, Lamborghini, Audi and Ducati.
5. Brain Buddies (SEL India) – Simple but addictive
Brain Buddies is a mind game to check your brain power to remember things. You have to remember the Pattern of Images on the grid. Some images are shown on the screen for 3 seconds and then they disappear. You have to tap on the squares which showed the images.
6. Listen! Card Game! (usoftation) – Innovative and Fun
‘Listen! Card Game!’ is a new type of card game in which you must find cards that match by sounds instead of pictures.
7. FlipIt (SEL India)
FlipIt is a cool, addictive yet quite polished game that will challenge your logical thinking. The goal is to flip all the black pieces to the white side in as few flips as possible.
8. Morpion(SEPEFREI)
This game is addictive and that’s not a secret to anyone who has played it on paper, now play it on your phone. Graphics are not very cool while getting being compared to similar applications available for iOS.

10. Hockey Nations Shoot Out (Distinctive Developments Ltd)
This game is for the lovers of hockey. Features 14 national teams and two game modes. You control the action with the virtual directional pad that offers full 360 degree control as well as the 2 action buttons on the right-hand side of the screen.
