
BlackBerry Torch 9850 is set to arrive at Verizon and will be available for purchase, starting today from their website. The company also announced that the new device will be released via Verizon Wireless Communications Stores around the country, starting with September 15th.
“BlackBerry Balance is now integrated, allowing secure access to business information while preventing it from being copied into, sent from or used by personal applications. Customers can stay connected to their personal and business lives while in or out of the office,”
The Bold Touch 9850 comes framed in 11.5mm body with a 3.7 inch capacitive touchscreen, displaying 480 x 800 pixels resolution with 287 ppi density, 5 MP autofocus camera with 720p video recording, 4 GB of internal storage and microSD card slot for additional expansion of storage.
Their CPU is powered by a 1.2GHz processor and it comes with 768MB of RAM. On the connectivity side, it features dual-band Wi-Fi – 802.11 b/g/n at 2.4 GHz and 802.11 a/n at 5 GHz, NFC support, GPS with A-GPS and Bluetooth.
The BlackBerry Torch 9850 comes with new Blackberry OS 7, it incorporates BlackBerry Balance, that is designed to keep personal and corporate data on the same device in a separate way.
For instance, files which are defined with corporate stamps aren’t allowed to send through your personal email id’s. Both the deices has Docs To Go software – premium office editing suite that takes care of spreadsheets and presentations.
The smartphone has been equipped with a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus and HD video recording capabilities.
