Hitler reacts to Death of webOS : DKgADGET

In what comes as a surprise, Mark Zuckerberg is the most followed personality on Google+. Google+ was launched by Google as an alternative to Facebook and it should be embarrassing for Larry Page and Surgey Brin to see their competitor topping the charts on their own platform.

According to the reported statistics, Mark Zuckerberg is the most followed personality with 21,213 followers whereas Larry Page and Surgey Brin are ranked second and fourth with 14,798 and 11,629 followers respectively.

As of now, Google+ is still in beta stage with users requiring invitations from someone, who already has a Google+ account to be able to register.

There are all sorts of craziness on being display for Google+, with users at eBay hosting auctions for Google+ invitations, email spams being sent to millions in name of Google + registrations (be careful!).

Almost everyone wants to try out Google+, but finding a way to register with Google blocking invitations should mean hard luck. It seems if you are Mark Zuckerberg, you have any number of profiles on Google+, fake or real is another discussion.

CNET has identified three profiles with Zuckerberg’s name. One name stands as “Fake Zuckerberg” and the other two reads as “Mark Zuckerberg”. Google hasn’t rolled out a mechanism to authenticate user names and thus can’t do anything with the above mentioned stuff.

It seems playing with Google+ and creating fake profiles or Mark himself has created a profile to try Google+. It shouldn’t be difficult for you to get a Google+ profile, if you are Mark Zuckerberg.

Google+ has three profiles of Mark Zuckerberg? : DKgADGET

Earlier this week, GSV Captial corp bought an estimated share of 225,000 at an average price of USD 29.28 each. This buying of Facebook stake raised the valuation of Facebook to 70 billion.

According to Time magazine, Mark Zuckerberg personal fortunes has also soared as a result of this and now stands at $ 18 billion.

“With the new valuation, Zuckerberg has one-upped Google co-founders Sergey Brin and Larry Page, whose fortunes are estimated to have dropped,” the  report said

Google is finding hard to tackle popularity of Facebook and it has introduced Google +1 as a tool in hope to fight against it. Facebook advertising system is bringing the ad rates down and Google relies heavily on ad-revenues.

Facebook also, isn’t open to sharing data with Google as Microsoft has a stake in Facebook, which integrates data from Facebook in Bing’s search results.

Whatever, the above stated purchase makes Zuckerberg the third-richest man in the tech world, only behind Microsoft’s Bill Gates and Oracle’s Larry Ellison.

According to a post published by SAI, Facebook has seen a drop of 6 million active users in the United States, falling from 155.2 million at the start of May to 149.4 million at the end of it. Canada also registered a 1.52 million loss and now active users from Canada stands 16.6 million. There are three more countries that registered a fall of more than 1 million active users, namely United Kingdom, Norway and Russia. The fall has been registered in countries where is was first to launch it’s services.

Facebook is now nearing towards registration of 700 million users, with current registration numbers standing around 687 million users, as of June.  The company saw 11.8 million registering a Facebook profile in May. Most of these users are coming from countries where Facebook has just started it’s operations such as India, Mexico and Brazil.

There isn’t a graph depicting a comparison between active users and registered users to give a clear fluctuation of real thing. Facebook is still growing strong in India and it our neighbor (China) is still out of radar for Facebook due to China’s government requirements. It will be interesting to see, how the story unfolds over due course.

Facebook growth slowing down in countries, where it first started operations : DKgADGET

They saw the site “amethi.net” getting redirected to another site, email accounts password not working and upon resetting the account found suspicious activities inside it. The server had information on the constituencies of Rahul Gandhi and other information related to his political party. The hacking reportedly took place between April 4 and 19.

The motive and amount of data stolen is still unclear. In the meanwhile, authorities have registered a case under 66 Information Technology Act and the case is under investigation of special cell of Delhi Police.
