Nokia, now a days only makes news for wrong reasons is looking to get up , which could save the career of its CEO Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo. The cellphone maker is poised to unveil its new flagship model E7, which comes with a large touchscreen and full keyboard, at the show in London, two sources with direct knowledge of Nokia’s plans told Reuters. Nokia will also introduce to the public its new N8 model, which is the first phone to use the new Symbian 3 software, along with other new smartphones, the sources said.
“As the N8 starts shipping and other devices are unveiled, Nokia will be hoping that it can lay the foundation stones for its recovery given the onslaught of competitive products currently hitting the market,” said Ben Wood, director of research at CCS Insight. ”It has made some big commitments on fixing Symbian and its first flagship product using the refreshed Symbian operating system. Failure is not an option,” Wood said.
Samsung i8910 HD, one of its product from the portfolio of Symbian is often left out due to boom that is happening in other operating systems such as Android, which makes Samsung put more resources on Android rather than Symbian. The Symbian S60-powered smartphone recently got two additional fix-ups from its users – HyperX’s HX-V8-32and faenil’s n2o4.
As you can presume, you can’t install both of these – you’ll have to pick which one will run on your respective i8910 HD. Either way, by installing any of the two – you’ll be significantly upgrading the existing firmware. I ain’t gonna suggest which one is better (cause both rock) and will leave you to pick the personal favorite.

About a week and a half ago, iPhone developers TapTapTap pushed an updated version of their Camera+ photography app to the App Store, and all seemed well. Just yesterday, however, they revealed (via a message on Twitter that was pulled about 30 minutes after it went out) that this latest build had a hidden feature: by visiting the URL camplus://enablevolumesnap in Mobile Safari, one could make the volume buttons on the side of the iPhone instead act as a camera shutter button — something which Apple had already said was a no-no. Dell is silently making lots of buzzes with Streak and now its time for thunder – another gadget dressed with Android, specs include a 4.1-inch AMOLED display, and Android 2.1 with Dell’s custom skin on top (this could change, obviously, as the device isn’t expected until Q4 for AT&T). We also believed this device would have a screen with a WVGA resolution, but judging by how many icons are displayed in the app drawer, it could end up being higher (much higher). We still have some time to go before an official announcement, but the device is still real and it looks like it’s coming along nicely.
