Desktop Tower Defense 2

Desktop Tower Defense is a game with simple design, but brings a nice play to life. The game is flash based, easy to learn and accessible directly through your computer’s web-browser, where you can find and play online slots. There is no console to buy in order to play Desktop Tower Defense, just find it on the internet and start playing. Here are some tips and bits of information that will help get you started on playing this great online game.

Simple Objective, Complex possibilities

This game is simple enough in its concept and design, but it can make for some incredibly challenging scenarios. The object of Desktop Tower Defense is to repel the attacks of roving “creeps,” small, stupid warrior pieces that try to traverse your virtual office desktop to reach the other side and take away your limited number of lives. To do this, you are provided with some “Lives,” which you must maintain, some “Money” and some “Towers” that you can buy and build. There are different towers that perform different shooting functions. Some shoot slow and powerful, others are fast but weaker. So it’s important to set up a healthy variety of towers to ensure maximum damage. As you kill the creeps, you earn more money to buy and upgrade towers.

Different Creeps

It’s important to set up your towers with a good amount of variety in order to deal with the variety of different creeps that comes on to the board in successive waves, otherwise known as levels. Some creeps go fast and are easily destroyed, some are really strong and resistant to tower-fire, and some just fly right over your towers. That’s why you need to include both ground-based and air-based towers to counter the different attacks. Still other creeps move in dense groups for protection, which requires the use of freezing towers to slow them down or large missile battery towers that shoot large, damaging projectiles at the group, killing them faster.

Strategy to Control and Kill Creeps

The strategy of the game comes in to play when you place towers to block particular paths that the creeps need to take. Creeps will always go for the shortest route between where they enter the game board to where they exit the board. With that knowledge, players can block certain paths, forcing creeps into special kill zones or along long lines of towers to increase exposure to fire. Often called “Juggling,” this strategy is key to beating the higher levels. But as the levels increase and you add more towers, the creeps get faster and stronger, too. Same excitement that you get when you Play Blackjack Online.
