iTunes from Apple only allows us to sync app, books, and media files from PC or MAC. It doesn’t allow us to explore the file system of your iPhone, iPod or iPad. There are lots of things which are possible once you get access to the system. Though the access to file system requires you to jailbreak your device at first place.
Today we are introducing you to a software called iExplorer (Previously called iPhone Explorer). It is a software for iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad that allows you to browse and transfer files via drag and drop on your PC or MAC, plus a whole lot of additional things.

“iExplorer lets you easily transfer music, movies and playlists from any iPhone, iPod or iPad to your computer and iTunes. With its gorgeous user interface, you can view and save your photos, SMS, voicemail, address book contacts and even call histories. iExplorer can also seamlessly mount your iPhone or iPad like a flash drive in Mac’s Finder or Windows Explorer.” – Official explanation
In my case, I use the software when I need to install a Cydia file on my device that is being downloaded to PC from Internet, I can transfer that file with help the software. There are many such instances where iPhone Explorer will help you.
