The LG Mobile Support tool is a software that allows you to update your LG Phone’s firmware or software depending on the availability of a new one. Below is the way to download and have a proper installation of the support tool on your computer.
Download LGMobile Support Tool.
- Go to here.
- Select the phone model.
- Scroll down on the webpage, go to “Software Update’ tab and Install the USB DRIVER, followed by LG MOBILE SUPPORT TOOL (See the image above)
To update your LG phone firmware (needs an active internet connection);
- Install LGMobile Support tool.
- Plug your phone to PC via USB port and now, the open LGMobile Support tool.
- If required, the LGMobile Support software will install the latest USB drives and will connect to online LG servers for checking of any new firmware for your device.
- If it finds new firmware, your phone will be automatically updated. Just follow the on-screen instructions.
Before installing the update, we would recommend two things;
- Make sure that you have a backup of your data (contacts, settings and whatever you can).
- Also look to charge your device (at least 50 percent) as you won’t like your device getting switched off in-between the update process.
