Facebook for Android has received a new update. The new update brings faster uploading of images from your phone, refined experience of creation of an event and a few others.

You can install and directly download the app to your device from here (Google Play). To update the app on the phone itself, go to Google Play > My Apps and see the list of available updates. Tap Facebook and follow the on-screen instructions.
