
Google has pushed a new update for users of Gmail on Android. The new update brings better rendering of emails on a 7 inch form factor, which is particularly targeted for Nexus 7.
There are also a few bugs fixed with the release giving more desired performance boost to the app on Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS).
If you are running on Gingerbread, there are bug fixes for you and developers can take benefits from new label API’s.
To update the Gmail for Android on your device, go to Google Play > My Apps. You will be automatically shown the apps that can be updated, now tap the Gmail for Android app followed by update button, the app will be downloaded and updated.
Also, you can install and directly download the Gmail for Android app to your device from Google Play Link. Click Install, and the app will automatically be downloaded to your device when your phone has an Internet connection.
