One of the highlights of Android 4 (Ice Cream Sandwich) is the new font called ‘Roboto’ which is said to be easier on eyes allowing users to get a more clearer view of seeing menu items, reading messages and others. Google is now allowing users to download this new font from here, which is definitely a welcoming move for users who love tweaking the user interface of the OS.
However, to change the font of the OS, you will require root. If you have root, you can download apps like Font Changer from Market (oops! google play now). You can still use the Roboto font with apps GOSMS and few others without the requirement of any root.
