
Google has officially made the Android 4.0.4 (ICS) update available for users of Verizon Galaxy Nexus. The file can be downloaded via Google servers and and it’s a 39.8 MB zip file. You can download the file from this direct download link.
You might be wondering about the small size of the update, it’s not a full blown ROM and only provides you the files that are required to update your Galaxy Nexus to Android 4.0.4. Please, note that you are on the official ROM stock without any customization done by unlocking bootloader. This update can only be applied to official stock.
We are still getting mixed reactions about the OTA update for the Verizon Galaxy Nexus. Some users are reporting that Verizon has released the update via OTA (over-the-air), however few are denying it.
