Google updates Chrome to Phone and Google Docs for Android

Google has released two new updated app for Android, called Google to Phone and Google Docs.

Google Docs for Android needs no introduction. It looks to rival Windows Office live functionality, but it fails very poorly on online world. However, on Android phones, Google Docs is the king but Google has a habbit of taking everything online. This requires you to go online, everytime you need to edit a document. After updating to this version, you will be able to edit your files offline on the handset itself, and later sync it online. This single feature should be tempting enough for you to go for the update.

Chrome to Google is an app that allows you to send links from PC to Phone. You don’t have to email the links, just click “Chrome to Phone” and the link will appear on your smartphone. This update looks to fix few bugs, thus bringing more desired stability to the app and also, there are few welcoming UI changes. The app was introduced in 2010 and isn’t massively popular, but it has its own group of users who swear by it.
