Google : We didn’t knew round corners could be patented, takes a poke at Apple

Google's David Lawee

Here is an interesting news that we stumbled from two days ago. Google’s David Lawee, Vice President of corporate development, in an interview with Bloomberg Tv said, that ”We didn’t believe rounded corners were patentable.”

This was in reference to Apple winning the case against Samsung for the patents inside the operating system which were roughly related to something round only.

In a way, he hinted that Google wasn’t aggressive against filling intellectual property rights such as round corners. Hit this link to get a taste of his words making a loaf of Apple.
