Skye, the VOIP software which is now Microsoft’s property has received a leak. A hacker which goes by the name of Stun has released the source-code of Skype. He released it as a registration of his anger against the governmental backdoor.
“After Microsoft acquires Skype for 8.5 billion dollars and proceeding to add back doors for government to the program, the software has been hacked and its source code released,” – Stun
According to Softpedia, there was a programmer who released the code earlier in the form of reverse engineering. They are calling it as the same code which is being distributed again and again.
Remember, viruses which are released again and again by coders by simply modifying the earlier code and this case seems to follow that theology.
The release has been made available via torrent sites like the pirate bay, we aren’t sharing the link but we think if you want to study the leak, you can google it yourself and get the download.
