HTC confirms Android 4 (ICS) update for Verizon Wireless sold HTC Rhyme, HTC Thunderbolt, DROID Incredible 2 and more..

HTC has posted a new update on its Facebook Fan page that is set to bring delight for users of HTC Rhyme, HTC Thunderbolt, and DROID Incredible 2, belonging to Verizon Wireless. The post also goes on to say about the upcoming release of ICS for customers of Rogers and Bell in Canada running HTC Raider. Below is the complete extract of the statement;

“We have more good news related to Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich, and can confirm that upgrades are planned for Verizon Wireless customers with the HTC Rhyme, HTC Thunderbolt, and DROID Incredible 2 by HTC, as well as the already announced HTC Rezound.”

“In addition, the HTC Raider is on the list to receive ICS for customers of Rogers and Bell in Canada. Stay tuned for more news on Ice Cream Sandwich releases in the coming weeks.”

We hope HTC keeps surprising users with more information like this. HTC phones are attractive with Sense UI on-board but that asset becomes one of the painful reason for users bringing constant delays in releasing new version of Android updates.
