HTC has started pushing the Android 2.3.5 update for HTC Desire HD in India. The update has been made available via OTA (over-the-air) and is a hefty 230 MB download, so better find Wi-Fi connection.
As said earlier, the update is pushed over OTA (over-the-air) and users are getting automatic notification about the availability of the update, the only requirement is the presence of device to be online. If you aren’t getting the notification, go to Settings> About phone> Software Update.
Below are things that you can see with this new update of Android 2.3.5 :
- HTC Sense 3.0 (improved Calendar, Messages, Camera, Gallery, Music, Weather, Lock screen, Reader and more)
- Google Video Chat
- Fixation of bugs giving more desired stability to the handset
Before going for this update, we always recommend two things :
- Look to completely charge-up your device battery as you won’t like your device switching off in-between the update process.
- Also, try to back-up your messages, contacts, application settings and whatever you can. If something goes wrong, this little step can save you from a lot of headache.
