HTC has launched HTC Desire V (Dual SIM) phone in India with an attached price of INR 21,999. The online retailer in India, Flipkart has listed the device and is taking orders for the phone as I write this post.

HTC Desire V has a display of 4.0 inches that can render a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, has a 1 GHz Cortex-A5 processor with 512 MB of RAM, plus Adreno 200 which acts as graphics card on a Qualcomm MSM7227A Snapdragon chipset. The device performance isn’t blazing but won’t disappoint you either. The camera module is 5MP at the rear and the front doesn’t have any secondary camera.

Further, the device has Accelerometer Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Multi-touchGPRS, EDGE, 3G, WI-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, DLNA, WI-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth 3.0 with a2dp profile and will run on Android 4 with Sense UI from the start which is good as you don’t have to wait for an update.

What makes this device stand out from the rest is support for handling two cellular operators, and there aren’t many offerings those stand in the class of HTC.
