HTC is working on the jelly bean (Android 4.1) update for HTC One S and One X (L).
The difference between HTC One X (L) and HTC One X is the use of the processor. HTC One X (L) runs on a Snapdragon S4 processor instead of the Tegra 3, which was originally announced with the One X. You can get one of this phone by going to Dialaphone page.
The shortage of processors made HTC ship to the older generation one.
The information comes via Telstra’s site which currently lists the on-going work of the HTC. They haven’t listed or associated any date with the release of the update, as with the most of cases related to Android updates.
HTC did say that they will be offering the update for a number of devices, and it’s natural to make the update first for their flagships.
