HTC One X gets Android 4.0.4 update, updates sense to 4.1

HTC-One-X

HTC has released the Android 4.0.4 update for users of HTC One X. The update is released internationally, meaning that the roll-out is global covering most of the regions. It’s confirmed in Germany and other European countries.

You will automatically get an update notification of the availability of the update via push notification on your phone. The only required thing is the presence of the Internet on your device. Below are the official changes made to the released update;

“Enhancements to memory, platform stability and the overall browsing experience. Other improvements include a Single Sign-On for Facebook allowing user access across applications and browsers and upgrades to Beat audio, which reflect our dedication to providing an authentic sound experience.”

Before going for this update, we would ask you to make a backup of your apps, messages and call logs, also look to charge your device as it won’t look good if the device gets switched off in-between the update process.

HTC One X was initially released with Android 4 (ICS), and being one of the most popular handset in the market, users were still made to work out with bugs, as Google made the Android 4.0.4 available which addressed those bugs. The next focus would be Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). Stay tuned.
