Huawei has launched two Android powered smartphone in India namely, Huawei Honor and Ideos X5 Pro. Both the released devices run on Android 2.3 at launch, with only one of them scheduled to receive the Android 4 treatment later.

Huawei Honor is powered with a 1.4 GHz single-core processor, 1GB of internal memory with 512MB of RAM, 4GB of ROM and microSD card slot for memory expansion up to 32 GB.

Huawei Ideos X5 Pro is a new device that has been equipped with 1 GHz processor, has 3.8-inch capacitive touchscreen display, a 5-megapixel rear photo snapper, and is backed-up by a 1500 mAh Li-Ion battery.
“What is the use of a smartphone, if you need to charge it once or twice a day? Absence of features and poor battery life are the top two reasons for Indian consumers to upgrade their smartphones. With industry leading features and superior technology in sync with Huawei’s brand philosophy of “Why Wait”, Huawei Honor raises the bar of smartphone experience,” said Anand Narang, marketing director at Huawei Devices.
Interested readers can purchase the Huawei Honor for INR 19,990, while the Huawei Ideos X5 Pro is priced at INR 13,800. The device will soon hit the shelves at leading retailers like Reliance Digital, Croma, online channels Flipkart, Tradus, Letsbuy and in multi-brand outlets.
