
Huawei announced that it’s new Android flagship, Huawei Honor is now available in the UK via Independent retailers meaning that you won’t get it along with any plans from cellular operators.
Huawei Honor is powered by a 1.4 GHz single-core processor, 1GB of internal memory with 512MB of RAM, 4GB of ROM and MicroSD card slot for memory expansion up to 32 GB.
The rear camera module is 8MP with Autofocus and flash, plus 720p video recording and the front has a VGA camera for video-calling. Further, the device has Accelerometer, gyro, proximity, HSDPA 14.4 Mbps, HSUPA 5.76 Mbps, WI-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, DLNA, WI-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth 2.1 with a2dp profile, MicroUSB v2 and runs on Android OS, v2.3 (Gingerbread).
The device OS can be updated to Android 4 (ICS) in the future, after the manufacturer releases the ICS update. Huawei said that they will be releasing the update soon.
The device has been made available for an attached price £250 which is SIM free and is currently available via all major online retail operators such as Expansys, Clove Technology and Play.com. Clove is selling the device for £238.80, Expansys for £210 and Play for £254.99.
