Indian Government lifts ban on number of sent messages

Indian Government has lifted the ban on number of sent messages (SMS & MMS) from earlier available twenty. The restriction was imposed to curb the spreading of communal rumors against Assamese people in other parts of the nation, and to a great extent, the government succeeded in doing so.

The ban was initiated for 15 days from August 17, and the number of messages that can be sent were five / phone number in a day.

As the situation was getting normal, the number of sent messages that can be sent from a phone number were increased to twenty.

If you are residing in India, you can enjoy the restore of normalcy with respect to sending of SMS and MMS.
