Instagram for iOS has received a new update that will take advantage of larger iPhone 5 screen. As you are already aware, iPhone 5 spots a larger screen than the iPhone 4S or any version of earlier existing iPhone, and the existing apps fail to take advantage of the larger screen size due to new dimensions.
After the pushed update, the new Instagram app feels more natural on the iPhone 5 screen. Apart from the supporting a new resolution, the app also introduces a newly redesigned registration process along with a better password recover system.
Those apps which haven’t been updated to support the screen size of iPhone 5 will be shown with black strips attached to the top and bottom of the screen which doesn’t seem very nice. There are plenty of iOS apps which haven’t been updated as of now, but things are definitely like to change in coming days for good.
However, apps that from the biggies such as Facebook and Twitter already have been updated which Apple showcased with the unveiling of iPhone 5.
