Sony has few exclusives for its Android based phones and its Bravia rendering engine for videos and images on Xperia range of phones is definitely one of the coolest things to look for. Samsung uses the Super AMOLED + display whereas, Sony Ericsson uses ‘Reality Display’ Mobile Bravia Engine technology on their phone.
Both the display type have their own advantages and disadvantages. The display from Samsung is very high in color saturation and few complain the issue while looking at images or videos for a longer period of time, but the vividness can’t be matched by Sony’s realty display.
Sony’s display looks to render natural colors and are more ease on eyes, but this Bravia Mobile rendering engine scales up the great natural rendering while watching pics and videos. This Bravia mobile rendering engine has been made with expertise inputs from their Bravia TV division.
Now, a developer has ported the Mobile Bravia Engine technology to the Samsung Galaxy S2 and Galaxy Note. The mod is available only for rooted handset users to try.
