
Apple has expanded its iTunes match service 19 more countries, mostly belonging to region of Latin America and Europe. These countries to get iTunes Match, include Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Estonia, Guatemala, Honduras, Latvia, Lithuania, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, and Venezuela. Most of these countries have just recently received the iTunes Music Store.
iTunes match service service was first launched in the US last year on November, and was later expanded to few more countries, which includes Australia, Canada, and the UK.
The last country which availed this service was Netherlands, and this was done in December, 2011.
iTunes match service service is now available in 37 countries. The iTunes Match service lets users access all of their music via the iCloud, including songs that were not originally purchased from iTunes. The service scans your library and matches those songs to those existing in Apple’s massive library. If a match is found, it will directly store songs under your account at an upgraded 256kbps quality. The service is optional and costs $24.99 a year in the US.
