Apple doesn’t allow tweaking of any features on iOS (iPhone, iPod, iPad) and thus, people in search for ways to jailbreak their device and then, head to Cydia. Until now, Cydia is the only alternative and it can be a frustrating place to browse stuff. There are other stores such as ‘Rock your iPhone’, but they hardly match up to the scale of Cydia store.
