If you love reading, you got to have Kindle on your Android device. The app allows you to read books purchased from Amazon, synced via your account and shows a nice interface to read. What we like one thing in particular is the ability to read pdf on the Kindle app. There are many Android apps that are marked as pdf readers, but very few actually shine.
Kindle does a great job of handling PDF documents. The ability to read pdf documents from the app itself is definitely a very good thing.
Tip: To make the PDF documents open in Kindle manually, move pdf documents to the SDCARD / Kindle. The documents will then start showing inside the app.
The app is available for free and it doesn’t push any ads unlike the free apps generally do. We don’t blame free apps who push ads as they are needing some sort of earning revenue.
What we like about the app?
- Ability to get books from Amazon (free + purchase) and read them on an Android device.
- Read pdf files, you don’t need to install another PDF reader.
- Built-in Dictionary, Google, and Wikipedia (uses Internet connectivity)
- Customize Your Reading (we like the screen brightness feature)
Have your say in comments about the things that you like and dislike about the app. We will make sure that you say gets highlighted, if it gets vote from other users.
