
If you need to Root + Install CWM + Flash the Samsung Galaxy Ace, below is how to do it.
Note : All the required files can be downloaded from here (Google Drive).
How to Root Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830i?
- Download update.zip and place it on your SD Card.
- Switch off your phone and reboot into recovery by pressing POWER+VOLUME UP + HOME together.
- After entering recovery, select ‘Install Zip from SD Card’.
- Now, select the update.zip and install it.
- Reboot, look for an app called ‘Superuser’. If you see it, you have rooted your device.
If you need to unroot your device again for some reason, download unroot.zip file and place it on your SD Card, and follow the same procedure as early.
How to install CWM on Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830i?
- Download ClockWorkRec5830i.zip and put in in your SD Card.
- Switch off your phone and reboot into recovery by pressing POWER+VOLUME UP + HOME together.
- After entering recovery, select ‘Install ClockWorkRec5830i.zip from SD Card’, install it.
- That’s done. Don’t delete the ClockWorkRec5830i.zip file, keep it on your SD card as for every use, you need the file to be present for installation.
Flashing s5830i with Odin v1.85
- Switch Off your phone and put the device in Download mode by pressing Power+Volume Up+volume down (all at the same time).
- Open Odin v1.84. Run the software as Administrator on PC.
- Put the files on Odin and don’t touch the settings.
- If it’s a one-file firmware put it in PDA section, Or if it’s multiple put the files in the correct section.
- Click Start, let the process begin, wait for some time and let the phone boot automatically. The first boot takes some time, so be patient.
