
LG showed the LG Optimus L3 as a budget phone in MWC 2012 and Flipkart, the retail online operator in India has made the device available for pre-order in India.
LG Optimus L3 has 3.2-inch capacitive display that can render a resolution of 240×320 pixels, has 800MHz processor with 384MB RAM to take care of processing needs, and also comes with a microSD slot that allows expanding storage by further 32 GB.
The LG Optimus L3 comes with a 3MP rear camera. This isn’t one of the best cameraphone available in the market. Further, the device has Accelerometer, proximity, compass, HSDPA, 3.6 Mbps, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP profile, microUSB and powered by a 1500 mAh battery.
The LG Optimus L3 smartphone runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) and there isn’t any schedule set release of Android 4 (ICS) for the device.
The device has few shortcomings but at a price hovering around INR 7,949, you can’t ask for everything. LG will be launching the device in coming week and, you can pre-order it now via flipkart.com from here.
