LG Prada 3.0 is now available in the UK for £424.98, sold SIM free and unlocked including VAT. The only extra charge that you will have to pay will be shipping cost. Unlocked Mobiles is retailing it for £424.98, and Clove is asking £429.99, which is roughly equal.
It has an impressive 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen which is based on LG’s NOVA Plus display technology. The display is supposed to be top-notch and is poised to provide a nice competition to the phones featuring Super AMOLED+ from Sasmung. It runs on Google’s Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) and will be upgraded to Android 4 (Ice Cream Sandwich) in 2012 (probably in April).
Further, the device is powered by a dual core TI OMAP4430 processor that is clocked at 1 GHz, and packs 8GB of internal memory, as well as microSD card slot that will allow you to expand storage by 32 GB. There is a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and autofocus which can record full HD (1080p) videos. The quality of camera is reportedly said to be good.
The connectivity is top-notch as can be expected from a premium phone with HSPA+ and Wi-Fi support, along with Bluetooth 3.0 and GPS with A-GPS. As of now, LG hasn’t said anything on pricing but we know that the device is slated to arrive on shelves by 1st quarter of 2012.
Anyways, don’t misjudge the spelling mistake on the above image by the retailers, they are just humans not doing their job properly.
