
LG’s chairman Koo Bon-moo, has confirmed the on-going work on a quad-core android phone that will have a 10 MP camera module fitted at back. Seeing the news directly coming from the top head at LG confirms the progress made on the Smartphone.
The upcoming phone will supposedly remove the current flagship the Optimus 4X, which also runs on a quad-core processor. Though, the LG Optimus 4x is very powerful in its own right, it hasn’t matched up to type of Samsung Galaxy S3.
LG wants to build a product that matches up to Samsung’s one, and then they can truly call it a flagship. LG has the know-how to be at the top, but it somehow faded with lack of clear vision. It was the first to launch a dual core processor phone, it’s LG Optimus 4X is also very powerful and it had some good products too, but it failed to get the right attention.
The upcoming Quad-core phone is set to make into the markets by the month of September, and we can see the announcement in a couple of months. We will update you as more information comes in the future.
