Meet Flipout – Motorola’s New Android Handset

Motorola has unveiled its latest Android based handset, the Flipout featuring a square pivot design and running Android 2.1 to the world. The phone  features a five-row QWERTY keypad with a separate row for numeric keys. The user interface has seven customizable home screens, live wallpapers and added security for exchange server users. Being a device from Motorola, the Motoblur makes an appearance on the device as well.

Available in Licorice, Fairway Green, Raspberry Crush, Brilliant Blue, Poppy Red, Saffron or White colors, the phone comes with a 3 megapixel camera and features a fairly large 2.8-inch, 320 x 240 screen. Motorola’s CrystalTalk technology and support for one touch uploads to Picasa, Flickr, Facebook and MySpace too find their way in. The browser supports multi-touch pinch to zoom, and adds Adobe Flash as well.
