Microsoft has added quite a number of apps to its app store for Windows Phone in the year 2012, strengthening its position by a small margin. They have managed to add more than 75,000 apps and games to the store. Microsoft is hard at work to attract more developers to the store.
Android OS from Google and iOS from Apple enjoys the best of developer support. The number of users that use an iPhone and Android device is huge, and Windows Phone users make a small pale number in comparison. However, things are changing as the position of Windows Phone improves.
Having the number of apps is one thing, but getting quality apps from developer is a thing in which Apple leads the pact. However, with respect to numbers, Microsoft is improving its position and with more number of devices getting released in the year 2013 (thanks to Nokia!), the app store will get more apps.
