The Windows 8 is the next big thing in the world of Windows, and we can’t seem to get enough of it. The upcoming operating system from Microsoft is set to be released on October 23, however Amazon has already put up the software on its site, catering to the United Kingdom.
Windows 8 will be made available after October 23rd only, however pre-orders may start early. There is one thing that this popup highlights, the different variants of the upcoming Windows 8 which is interesting to take note.
- Windows 8 Pro upgrade edition : Special discount for users upgrading from Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows 7. It will cost you $39.99 to download the product online and $69.99 to buy the physical media via retail store.
- Windows 8 Pro edition : The profession version of Windows 8, more features than the standard version.
