Nokia last year in December, acknowledged the existence of a battery issue related to Nokia Lumia 800. The issue was related to drainage of battery, quicker than expected and the fix was promised in early 2012. Nokia to its credit has released the update in line with the promised time. The update isn’t available globally at all regions, but is expected to roll out completely within two weeks.
The released update brings the firmware version to 1600.2483.8106.11500. Below is the changelog of the major fixes:
- Improves battery performance on the device with fixing of bugs,
- Improvement in Wi-Fi performance.
- Fixation of few other issues giving more desired stability to the handset.
