Nokia Lumia 800 was launched at a price hovering around Rs. 30,000 in India but in recent weeks, the price has been reduced considerably. Now, the device can be bought for a price of Rs. 23590 from online retailer Flipkart.com.
Nokia Lumia 800 uses Windows Phone 7.5 (Mango), has dimensions of 116.5 x 61.2 x 12.1 mm with a weight of 142 grams and will be made available in three colors namely, Black, Cyan, Magenta. The phone features a 3.7 inch AMOLED Capacitive ClearBlack type, 16 million colors display that will render a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels.
It has a single core 1.4 GHz processor, has Qualcomm MSM8255 along with a 3D Graphics HW Accelerator to make sure that the phone gives you a stellar performance, according to strict compliance norms laid down by Microsoft.
Further, the smartphone possess Accelerometer Sensor, Proximity Sensor, 8 MP rear autofocus camera with dual-led flash and the lens is branded with name of carl zeiss optics and this time, there is no front camera which is a little disappointment but with Nokia backing the camera, the captured images should be good and the impression till now from reviews are definitely positive.
The phone has 16 GB as storage with 512 MB RAM and as with Windows Phone, there is no option of expanding storage further. On the connectivity side, the phone has all the options, 3G with HSDPA 14.4 Mbps and HSUPA 5.76 Mbps, WLAN 802.11b /g / n, Bluetooth v2.1 with A2DP profile + EDR and microUSB for data transfers from PC. The phone is backed by a 1450 mAh Li-ion battery.
We like the device, but few things like camera was a disappointment for us. We hope that the upcoming Lumia 900 will shine in that department too.
