Nokia N9 Pre-orders sold out in Finland

nokia n9 Finland completely sold out

Nokia isn’t interested in Nokia N9 with refusal to release the handset in few markets, Finland was one of the few countries where the handset was set to launch and now it turns out that the pre-orders that was made available for booking of Nokia N9 has made the stock sold out.

This just goes to show a Company whose response is confusing and amusing to say the least for it’s own products. Nokia wants to concentrate on one thing, i.e Windows Phone based devices and the release of Nokia N9 is just to fulfill the contract terms that they signed with Intel, related to MeeGo OS. Samsung is one company that clearly knows how to get the things done by using multiple OS on their systems and successfully leveraging their business opportunities.

Nokia is betting big time on Windows Phone and it should stick to the thing that it believes. There is no point in releasing a MeeGo handset that they aren’t going to support in future and consumers are left wanting in support for apps and bug fixes.

Having said so, Nokia N9 is a beautiful handset with gorgeous screen. The body of the handset is made up of single piece of polycarbonate with curved glass on front. The 3.9 inch AMOLED display is laminated with deep black giving great viewing experience.

Nokia also added a 8MP camera with Carl Zeiss lens and autofocus, wide-angle lens, HD-quality video capture and large lens aperture (as was the case with Nokia N8) to give a nice performance for image capturing. Nokia also added a new feature called hardware decoding of Dolby Digital Plus and Dolby Headphone post-processing technology.

It seems that users are upbeat about the handset and the sold-out of pre-order of the offering only gives credit to the story. We don’t know the actual number of devices or say, don’t have the data to give more credible power to the story. The 64GB model was at high demand at Nokia’s Flagship Store in Helsinki.

We hope, Nokia churns out a similar handset with Windows Phone on-board.
