Nokia is all set to do an internal investigation of the video add that popped up over at Internet showcasing the mighty capabilities of the Windows Phone 8 OS powered phone. Last week, the advertisement was hovering all over the Internet.
Nokia too came out with a pureview add that showcased the Smartphone camera module, but the recorded stuff turned out to be fake causing big embarrassment for the company. As the stuff turned to be fake, Nokia took a beating on its name. The media picked up the story and the Nokia issued a public apology for the happening.
But the damage was already done to the reputation of the company’s flagship which may prevent some customers turning up for the phone.
According to Bloomberg, Nokia is trying to figure the people who were responsible for the creation of the advertisement, and it seems there is more to the story than what it seems on the first place. We will update you as more information comes in the future.
