A 25 year old Russian hacker who goes by the name of Dmitry Olegovich Zubakha has been arrested in association with two DDOS (denial of service) attacks that was carried on June 6 and June 9, 2008. The attacks were particularly carried against the Amazon (US) site.
The police got a tip about the hackers in the year 2009, when the involved men started boosting the carried stuff in some underground hacking forums. The same person is also involved in activities related to stealing of 28,000 credit cards.
The case started in 2008 and he is now finally trapped in Cyprus at the request of U.S. authorities. There is a saying that ‘the arm of the law is long’ and is definitely true in this case.
