Samsung Galaxy 2 mini is now available for pre-order in UK for £179.95 and you can pre-order it from MobileFun. The device is sold unlocked and SIM free which means that you are free to choose any cellular operator of your choice. The device doesn’t has great specifications as it wasn’t supposed to. It’s a phone for people who are looking for a cheap deal.
On the specifications side, the device is 109.4 x 58.6 x 11.6 mm in dimension with a weight of 105.3 g. The display is Capacitive type, 16 million colors display that is fitted with a rendering resolution of 320 x 480 pixels. Samsung Galaxy S2 runs on a 800 MHz single core processor with Adreno 200 as GPU, and runs on a 1300 mAh battery.
It has a 3.15 MP camera which can also record video at VGA resolution with 25fps. There is no secondary front camera that is embedded into the device. Also, the device has Accelerometer Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Multi-touch, 4 GB storage, 512 MB RAM, miroSD slot that allows to expand storage by 32 GB, HSDPA, 7.2 Mbps, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, DLNA, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP Profile and runs on Android OS 2.3 (Gingerbread). As of now, Samsung isn’t planning to release an Android 4 (ICS) update for the device.
