A user who himself identified as someone working on the upcoming Jelly bean update for Samsung Galaxy S3, revealed the release date to be August, 29. The information was reported via GSMArena.com.
The released Jelly Bean build will be a general release one, and not a specifically customized carrier one. Those who are restricted to a carrier will have to wait a little longer as there will be carrier restrictions/ services which are to be implemented by Samsung, before making the build available.
The release is two days ahead of the IFA 2012 opening, where Samsung is expected to announce Samsung Galaxy Note II which will go on sale in Q4, 2012. We will update you more in future as this story gets unfolded.
