Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 will be made available in Canada from 6th July. The device is priced at at $349.99 in Canada and will be sold by Future Shop. It isn’t a full fledged launch and thus, the number of available Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 device is very limited.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (Wi-Fi) runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with TouchWiz UX UI, has a 10.1 inch screen that can render a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, 3MP rear camera with VGA front-facing camera, 1GHz dual-core TI OMAP 4430 processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory plus MicroSD card slot and is powered by a 7000 mAh battery.
On the connectivity side, the device has Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, dual-band, Wi-Fi hotspot and Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP profile. We wished for the 32 GB version of the device rather than the 16 GB one which is limiting.
We wouldn’t recommend this tablet as Android still lags behind iOS in terms of productivity that you can achieve from a tablet. However, it is you who have to make the decision and except for Android OS, there is nothing unlikable about the tablet.
