Samsung Galaxy Y gets new software [S536ODDLF1] update

Samsung has released a new software update for users of Samsung Galaxy Y. The released update is a mere 1.5 MB in size, and installs the firmware labelled as S536ODDLF1. The baseband version gets updated to S536ODDLF1.

There is no change-log associated with the released update which means that, this is a bug fixing and performance enhancement release, there are no added featured found. However, fixation of issues should give a smoother operation of the phone which is more than welcoming for sure.

The firmware has been released as an OTA (over-the-air) release, meaning you will automatically get an update notification of the availability of the update, whenever your device is online. To check for updates manually, go to settings > About Phone > Check for updates.
