Samsung Wave 3 Available for Pre-Order in the UK

Samsung-Wave-3

One of the first device getting the new Bada OS will be Samsung Wave 3 and the new handset is reportedly being spotted at online retailer, King Of Gadgets. Though, they aren’t reveling the exact date for launch of Samsung Wave 3, the retailer has started taking pre-orders for the device.

The initiation of taking pre-order by the retailer indicates the launching date to be round the corner. The device has been sold SIM free and unlocked allowing you to use SIM of any cellular carrier which comes in handy for the long run but the Bada powered smartphone may be little over priced. Interested users will have to pay no less than £399.99 which might be little steep for liking.

Samsung Wave 3 has a pretty powerful hardware. It runs on a single core 1.4 Ghz processor with 3 GB of internal memory, along with microSD card slot for additional memory expansion up to 32GB. It has a vibrant 4.0-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with 16 million colors support, rendering a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. The glass is Gorilla Glass display type.

Further, Samsung Wave 3 possess a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus, LED flash, face, smile and blink detection, image stablilization, 720p HD video recording capabilities, as well as a secondary VGA front facing camera for making video calls. The device is backed up by a 1500 mAh Li-Ion battery which is rated for a talktime of 8 hours and 30 minutes and a stand-by of 480 hours.

Inspite of Samsung Wave 3 possessing a pretty powerful hardware, it lacks the productivity of being a smartphone. The Bada OS which is used on phone doesn’t has the number of apps that iOS and Android has, moreover Samsung takes the Bada platform with little less seriousness and this raises the questionmark over this smartphone power? We would advice you to look somewhere else and get a better deal for yourself.
